New to Washington Park…Kids Yoga with The Yoga Bar!
Kid’s yoga is designed to teach children how to slow down, breathe, gain self-awareness, and improves self-esteem. Starting yoga at a young age can teach kids how to manage stress as well as, gain strength in the body, and help to promote self-respect. This is done through a basic introduction to yoga poses, games, trust building activities, breathing exercises, and meditation.
The teacher creates a safe environment for kids to discover and play. Beginning at 10:00am, each class is mindfully planned so children are fully engaged and gain a sense of calmness and peace. Classes are designed for children ages 4-8.
