Formerly called Date Night Movies, Summer Cinema features a free movie screening every Wednesday at the Park! Dust off those lawn chairs, grab a picnic basket, and join us for a fun, relaxing evening over on our civic lawn. See below for the complete *summer schedule or feel free to take a LOOK at some of the fun we had last year! Special thanks to our presenting sponsor, Chick-fil-A. Summer Cinema is part of the 2015 PNC Summer Series at Washington Park.
Washington Park’s concessions offer full bar service, including beer, wine, liquor, and coke products. On-tap craft beer offerings from Taft’s Ale House, Rhinegeist, MadTree Brewing, and the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company are also available for purchase.

2015 Summer Schedule
May 27: Napoleon Dynamite (2004)
Synopsis: Preston, Idaho’s most curious resident, Napoleon Dynamite, lives with his grandma and his 32-year-old brother (who cruises chat rooms for ladies) and works to help his best friend, Pedro, snatch the Student Body President title from mean teen Summer Wheatley.
June 3: Princess Bride (1987)
Synopsis: A grandfather sits down with his ill grandson and reads him a story that has been passed down from father to son for generations. The story is a classic tale of love and adventure, featuring the beautiful princess Buttercup and the odious Prince Humperdinck.
June 10: Jurassic Park (Jurassic Park)
Synopsis: Huge advancements in scientific technology enable a mogul to create an island full of living dinosaurs. John Hammond invites four individuals, along with his two grandchildren, to join him at Jurassic Park. But when the security systems are breached and the dangerous creatures are set free, the once peaceful tour quickly becomes a race for survival.
June 17: Labyrinth (1986)
Synopsis: In a fit of frustration, fifteen-year-old Sarah accidentally wishes her baby brother away to the Goblin King, who threatens to keep him forever if she fails to complete his Labyrinth.
June 24: Mean Girls (2004)
Synopsis: Raised in African bush country by her zoologist parents, Cady Heron thinks she knows about survival of the fittest. July 22: The Goonies (1985)
Synopsis: In order to save their home from foreclosure, a group of misfits sets out to find a pirate’s ancient treasure.
July 29: Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (1989)
Synopsis: When Dr. Henry Jones Sr. suddenly goes missing while pursuing the Holy Grail, renowned archaeologist Indiana Jones must follow in his father’s footsteps to defeat the Nazis.

Synopsis: A local weatherman, played by Bill Murray, finds himself living the same day over and over again.
