OTR Performs returns this summer! Every Sunday, enjoy an evening of FREE arts programming in the Park that is sure to please the whole family. Special thanks to our sponsors, DBL Law, the Ladislas & Vilma Segoe Family Foundation, and WVXU. DBL Law Presents OTR Performs is part of the 2015 PNC Summer Series at Washington Park.
Washington Park’s concessions offer full bar service, including beer, wine, liquor, and coke products. On-tap craft beer offerings from Taft’s Ale House, Rhinegeist, MadTree Brewing, and the Christian Moerlein Brewing Company are also available for purchase.

May 31: Playhouse in the Park presents King Records
About the Show: Join Playhouse in the Park for a FREE, staged concert reading of Cincinnati King, Playhouse Associate Artist KJ Sanchez’s new play about the history of Cincinnati music, racial equality, music pioneer Syd Nathan and King Records. King Records’ legendary drummer Philip Paul will kick off the evening with a one-of-a-kind performance and behind-the-scenes stories.
June 7: Cincinnati Opera in the Park
About the Show: Join the Cincinnati Opera as they kick off our 95th anniversary season with a magical evening of music in Washington Park. This free community concert will feature a selection of opera and musical theater favorites performed by stars from the 2015 season, the Cincinnati Opera Chorus, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
June 14: Young Professionals Choral Collective
About the Show:Members of the Young Professionals Choral Collective are joining to perform standards from their repertoire as well as a selection of songs from their latest concert, Drinking and Dancing, that was held at the Moerlein Brewery. The members of YPCC come from neighborhoods and companies from around Cincinnati to make music and explore their city. Learn more at www.ypccsing.org.

June 28: Noa (Achinoam Nini) with special guest Mira Awad
About the Show: Internationally famous Jewish-Israeli artist Noa (Achinoam Nini) has performed at the Vatican, Carnegie Hall, and the White House with superstars like Sting, Stevie Wonder, and Andrea Bocelli. Noa and longtime collaborator Mira Awad, a renowned Arab-Israeli singer, composer, and actor, represented Israel at the 2009 Eurovision Contest. Learn more at www.jewishcincinnati.org/noamira.

About the Show: You’re invited to the park for an evening of live musical stylings from well-known artist, Thee Phantom.

July 19: Ensemble Theatre
About the Show: Bring the family down for a special production of Still Life with Iris with members of the Ensemble Theatre. This show is the first play for young audiences to receive the Kennedy Center’s Fund for New American Plays Award. Still Life with Iris is a fantastical adventure which centers on a little girl’s search for the simplest of things: home.
July 26: Elementz featuring concert:nova
About the Show: Elementz presents “HipArt in the Park”, an evening of classic hip hop and R&B appropriate for the entire family. Featuring special guests classical string quartet concert:nova, The Millennium Robots, and internationally popular Hip Hop/Jazz/Rock/Soul collective ISWHAT?!, along with Elementz artists and the very popular hip hop dance team, Studio Kre8v.
August 2: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”
About the Show: Written by William Shakespeare. What happens when feuding fairies meddle in the love lives of human couples? Comical adventures, mistaken identities, and a silly play-within-a-play! The cast of William Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream is on tour including fairies and lovers as well as Nick Bottom and The Mechanicals as they hilariously attempt to rehearse and perform a play for the Duke’s wedding. In this whimsical forest, a happy ending is guaranteed for both sprites and mortals alike.
August 9: No Concert
August 16: Five Way
About the Show: Five Way is made up of long-time Cincinnati Symphony members. The group has performed throughout the area on concert series and in schools for over a decade. This will be their first solo appearance at Washington Park.
August 23: Cincinnati Shakespeare Company presents “Romeo & Juliet”
About the Show: One of the most beloved romantic tragedies in Shakespeare’s canon, Romeo and Juliet is the tale of Bard’s star-crossed lovers. Romeo and Juliet fall instantly in love only to discover they come from feuding families. In defiance of their families, amidst the animosity of friends and in concealment from their mentors, a young couple risk everything to be together. CSC is proud to present Romeo and Juliet and prove its continued relevance in the lives of young and old alike, throughout the ages.
August 30: P&G Big Band
About the Show: The Procter & Gamble Big Band is a full 17-piece, all volunteer ensemble made up entirely of Procter & Gamble employees and retirees. They play for company functions and community concerts in the greater Cincinnati area in keeping with their mission of “giving back to the community through music”. They play mostly classic big band tunes from the 1940’s with a few more modern songs thrown in for variety. Learn more at www.pgbigband.com.
