Details
Campfire Classics is a Halloween-themed adult story time program. Warlock Vorobok will select the best goosebump-raising supernatural tales from women authors across several centuries and dramatically read them out loud over the course of three nights. A discussion will take place after the readings. All of the programs will be held outside, so please dress appropriately.
October 16: 19th Century/Victorian – “Was It an Illusion?” by Amelia B. Edwards and “Man-Size in Marble” by Edith Nesbit
October 23: Early 20th Century – “The Follower” by Lady Cynthia Asquith, “The Doll House” by Hester Gorst, and “The Ghost” by Catherine Wells
October 30: 21st Century – “Horror Story” by Carmen Maria Machado and “How to Get Back to the Forest” by Sofia Samatar
