About Your Visit with Santa
We are excited to host Santa and his helpers at Washington Park this holiday season. We have put the health and well-being of all at the forefront of all our planning efforts.
In order to navigate this holiday season responsibly, we have implemented several safety measures based on guidance from health authorities.
There are a few key things to know before your visit to see Santa, and they include:
- Face coverings are recommended for all guests ages 2 & up. More information here on face coverings for children here.
- In addition, Santa and staff will be wearing face coverings.
- We ask that guests practice social distancing while in line to see Santa and follow posted signage and instructions from site staff.
- We have an increased focus on disinfecting and sanitation in between groups visiting Santa, including the addition of hand sanitizer in high traffic areas.
- It is our top priority to ensure the health and well-being of our guests and Santa, therefore, this year guests will not sit on Santa’s lap during their interaction, but will still have the opportunity to engage in conversation and a magical experience with Santa, while maintaining physical distance.
About These Measures
As part of these efforts, guests may see other changes in response to local recommendations and guidelines. Though it may be different from the last time you visited, these new measures are designed to offer a magical experience in a responsible way.
We understand that these times are challenging, and we appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding as we navigate as responsibly as we can. Together, we can find new ways to have fun while being diligent to maintain proper physical distancing.
COVID-19 Warning
We have taken enhanced health and safety measures—for you, your family and our staff. You must follow all posted instructions while visiting with Santa.
An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By visiting, all guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
