Park Rules

The use of all amenities is at your own risk. Unless authorized by permit, the following are prohibited.

Vehicles, bicycle riding, rollerblading or skateboarding
Stealing, damaging, or defacing property
Amplified sound or commercial activity
Solicitation
Discharging of weapons or firearms
Feeding wildlife
Leaving food or clothing
Alcohol use
Interfering with a permitted event
Drug use or other illegal activity
Glass containers
Littering
Rummaging in trash and recycling containers
Unleashed dogs outside of dog park
Grills or open flames

Smoking and tobacco use are prohibited throughout Washington Park.

Washington Park is closed from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM except as authorized by permit or for the purpose of entering and exiting the garage.

Be considerate: pick up after yourself and your dog, and use appropriate containers for waste. For more information, call 513-621-4400 or visit www.WashingtonPark.org.

If you fail to comply with Park Board rules you may be asked to leave or be charged with a misdemeanor.

Accessibility Info

In certain circumstances, primarily when events are actively taking place, the electrical outlets in certain locations in Washington Park can be made available to park patrons for medically necessary devices. If you must charge your medically necessary equipment, 3CDC staff members will work to accommodate you to the best of our ability during your visit to Washington Park.

To access a power source for your medically necessary equipment, visit the Washington Park Porch and ask as staff member for proper accommodations.

Note that if no events are taking place during your visit and/or the Washington Park Porch is closed, you should seek out a 3CDC operations staff member, and staff will try to accommodate your request.

Dog Park Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules

Entry to Dog Park is at the risk of handlers.

A leash is not required in the Dog Park, but dogs must be leashed while entering and exiting Dog Park.
All off-leash dogs must be under complete control of handler and leash must be in hand at all times. If you cannot control your dog, keep your pet leashed at all times for the safety of others.
Handlers must be in Dog Park and within view of their dogs.
Aggressive dogs are not permitted and must be removed at first sign of aggression.
Clean up after your dog and seal waste in a bag before disposing in trash receptacle.
Children under the age of 13 are not permitted in the Dog Park unless accompanied by an adult.
Female dogs in heat are prohibited.
Dogs must have an owner identification tag or embedded chip at all times.
Dogs must be current with all shots as recommended by your veterinarian.
No smoking or tobacco products permitted.

If you fail to comply with Dog Park rules you may be asked to leave or be ticketed by the police.

Children's Play Area Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules.

For Your Safety

All adults must be accompanied by a child
Children must be supervised by a responsible adult
Play at your own risk
Dogs are not permitted
No smoking or tobacco products permitted
Caution, water is recirculated/do not drink

For Your Health while playing in Children’s Stream

Take regular restroom breaks and change diapers only in restroom
Wash hands after using restroom or changing diapers
Anyone with diarrhea is not permitted to use fountain
Anyone with an infectious wound or communicable disease is not permitted to use fountain
If you fail to comply with Children’s Play Area rules you may be asked to leave or be ticketed by the police.

Interactive Water Park Rules

These rules are in addition to posted park rules.

For Your Safety

Children must be supervised by a responsible adult
Caution, water is recirculated/do not drink
No running or rough play
No gum or food permitted
No smoking or tobacco products permitted
Dogs are not permitted

For Your Health
