Midwest Sweet & Natural Festival

The Midwest Regional Sweet and Natural Festival, an outdoor festival that celebrates ethnic beauty, culture, community and love is happening again this spring. This year’s event includes an even bigger cultural marketplace, live DJ, The Brown Girls Project Beauty Lounge, Thairapy Elite Hair Studio’s Beard Bar, an AfroSwag Fashion Show, and Natural Hair Exhibition and Product Swap. It’s a day jam packed full of family friendly fun which will also include an afternoon of lawn games.

This year’s theme celebrates black Greek culture and our contributions to higher education with a presentation on the history of the divine 9, and a step show by several sororities and fraternities.
